Meridian: Real Yield · app.meridianyield.mobile
You can delete your Meridian account and everything stored with it yourself, from inside the app, without asking anyone. It happens immediately.
The account and its data are removed from the server first; the copy on your phone is erased straight after. There is no undo and no grace period.
Email support@meridianyield.app from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my Meridian account”. The request is completed within 30 days, in practice within a few days. You will get a confirmation once it is done.
The request must come from the account's own email address — that is the only way to be sure the person asking is the person who owns the data.
| Item | Kept | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Encrypted infrastructure backups | Up to 7 days | Backups roll over on a fixed cycle; your rows disappear as they do |
| Google Play purchase records | Held by Google, not by Meridian | Google keeps its own billing records under its own policy |
| Crash reports | 90 days | They never contained your identity or your figures in the first place |
Deleting your Meridian account does not cancel a Google Play subscription — only Google can do that. Cancel it in the Play Store: Play Store → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Meridian → Cancel. Do that before deleting the account, or you will keep being charged for something you can no longer use.
Signing out is not deletion. Profile → “Sign out” returns the app to guest mode and keeps everything on the phone; the server copy stays until you delete the account. Uninstalling the app removes the phone's copy but leaves the account intact.
